Spring Wrap Up

Unbelievably Beautiful Spring! Before heading into a summer swelter of fun, catch your breath and review some of the Spring projects at I Gotta Create!

I share a crafty version of the ever-present spring dandelion by using pom-poms, which are also used to...

...to top off these festively fun DIY Party Hats!
{Just in time for my 1st blog anniversary!}

I share a tutorial and several variations of these beautiful silk flower pins for Mothers Day, teacher appreciation, showers, thank-you's and more.

Silk flowers also become 'bows' for these gorgeous Mod Podged canisters. Scrap strips of paper and recycled hot chocolate or raisin cans never looked so great!

This printable fabric tutorial shows you how to add sass, charm and style to any apron.

There is something for the guys, too. Fathers Day is coming up, so I show you how to emboss gift boxes...

...and completed the theme with a fun "3D" Cowboy Card that you can also make yourself.

Use real wood to create these sweet 'twiggy nest' party bowls. These are part of my nesting series for the spring...

...and as different as these nests look, they both start with the same plastic pudding cup as the base.

Here's a note of mystery ... We're playing a guessing game until I post the tutorial!

One of you won a porcelain enamel address sign from Ramsign! Thanks for playing along. You all are #1 to me!

And of course, we strut our stuff at my themed linky parties every Wednesday at 7pm CST!

An artist from linky party is specially highlighted as part of the Inspiring Creative Women interview series. The interview with Lizy B Bakes is right *here*!

Ramsign Giveaway Winner is...

We've got the lucky Number!  Literally! ONE lucky fan of I Gotta Create! just won the fabulous giveaway from Ramsign: gorgeous house number sign (1-5 digits) of any size or color! This is up to a $99 Value!!
How will she put this beautiful porcelain enamel sign to use?

Here's what we know...
She loves the Highlander.
Yes...good choice.

She follows me now on Twitter and Facebook. {Thank you!}
She likes the number 34.
{But her lucky number is 22!}
And she says:
 "I follow you via email so I never miss a post :)"

And, well, shucks... that makes ME the lucky gal, really.

Congratulations to Sally!

Email me right away so we can get you hooked up with your new sign.

It was so much fun having this opportunity for you! I am very appreciative of each and every one of you.

Guessing Game: What's it made of?

A sneak peek and a riddle to solve...

We've been having some natural, rustic-themed fun over here. I showed you how to emboss recycled food boxes and save on gift wrap.

This cowboy is ready to party... birthday, Fathers Day, anniversary, thank you -- you can rustle him up for any season!

Making wishes with these whimsical dandelions adds lighthearted fun to your party.

Of course, you can also use the DIY pom poms on those dandelions for DiY party hats!

And this "vase" fits with our theme. So... what's it made of? How was it done? Leave a comment and see if you can guess!

The drawing for the porcelain enamel address sign takes place this Thursday! *closed*
